love about the fall season. During this time of the year there are so many
things to do. As I mentioned in a previous post we like to go out and enjoy
haunted attractions, but that’s not all. We also enjoy going to amusement parks
and taking in the last of the season by taking a drive and looking at the fall
We live close to many nice attractions; one of them is Hershey Park.
Every year Hershey Park celebrates Halloween; they decorate and give out candy
to the little ones. Many of the rides are still open, and the Zoo has something
they call “Creatures of the Night.” During this time the Zoo allows you to come
in and take a look at the animals at night. This is awesome, because normally
the Zoo is closed at dusk and you never get to see how the animals act in the
evenings; many of them are more active at night. You can take a flashlight with
you or purchase one there, when you get there the Zoo keepers will put a colored
film over the end of the flashlight to ensure the animals will not be blinded.
The Zoo even has an area that you can go to touch some of the animals,
such as a snake. This can be a great learning experience for all not to mention
FUN! This is not a scary attraction, everyone can participate without fear. The
park sets up many lights and fun fall things throughout. You can find more
information here: http://www.hersheypark.com/
The website will provide you with times and prices.
